BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® is a popular cosmetic treatment that has been used safely and effectively for over a decade. It is a purified protein that is derived from Clostridium Botulinum, a bacterium known for its neurotoxic effects. Using a tiny micro-needle, a very small amount of BOTOX® is injected with precision into specific locations on the face, such as the vertical lines between your eyebrows, forehead lines, and lines at the corners of your eyes (crow’s feet). These injections temporarily relax the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles and fine lines, resulting in a smoother and more youthful appearance.
Aside from its cosmetic benefits, BOTOX® has also been approved by the FDA for treating various ophthalmologic and neurological disorders. In 2004, over 2 million people received BOTOX® injections, which speaks to its safety and effectiveness as a treatment.
At our clinic, we only use BOTOX® that is sourced directly from Allergan, the only FDA-approved supplier in the U.S. Our team of experienced and licensed professionals is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality care and treatments.
How long does the procedure take?
After a thorough consultation, the BOTOX® procedure typically takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Due to its minimally invasive nature, there is no downtime associated with the treatment, allowing patients to resume their regular activities immediately after. This convenience makes it a popular choice for those seeking a quick and effective way to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
At our clinic, we strive to make the treatment experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Our team of trained professionals will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring that you are well-informed and comfortable throughout the procedure. With BOTOX®, you can enjoy a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance without any significant disruption to your daily routine.
How quickly will I see results?
Patients typically begin to notice the effects of BOTOX® within several days after the procedure, as the treated area starts to relax. However, it may take up to two weeks to fully realize the treatment’s benefits. During this time, patients should avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, as this could potentially move the BOTOX® to an unintended area and result in undesirable effects.
Our experienced clinicians will provide you with detailed post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal results. It is important to note that while BOTOX® offers a temporary solution to fine lines and wrinkles, regular treatments can provide ongoing benefits. With consistent treatments, patients often experience a reduction in the severity and frequency of wrinkles, allowing for a more youthful and radiant appearance over time.
How long will BOTOX® last?
On average, the effects of BOTOX® last for about three to four months. However, it’s important to note that individual results may vary. To maximize the benefits of the treatment, we recommend that patients receive their first three treatments precisely at 12-week intervals, followed by two additional treatments at 16-week intervals. By following this treatment schedule, patients may notice that they require less Botox over time, allowing for longer intervals between treatments. Our goal is to help our patients achieve the best possible results with the least amount of treatment.
Dermal Fillers
At our clinic, we offer a diverse range of dermal fillers to address various aesthetic concerns. Our team of experienced professionals uses these fillers to correct facial wrinkles, frown lines, smile lines, crow’s feet, acne scars, and other soft tissue contour deformities. Additionally, we use dermal fillers to restore the lip border, enhance lip volume and shape, and provide a subtle lift to the face. Our goal is to achieve natural-looking results while enhancing our patients’ natural beauty. During a consultation, we can help determine the best type of dermal filler and treatment plan for each individual patient’s unique needs and desired outcome.
